Backup Internet Connections – Same IP Failover

When CloudAccess SDN Technology is deployed, a static public IP address is assigned to the CloudAccess tunnel. CloudAccess encapsulates each Internet connection in its tunnel, which means that traffic moves between ISPs without making IP changes. Simply put, all your Internet connections are behind a single static public IP address.

Why does this matter? When one of your customers’ Internet connections has an outage and traffic routes over another Internet connection, the IP address does not change. Your customers’ VPNs, remote desktop sessions, SSH sessions, VoIP calls, web presentations, and every other session’s persistent applications are always-on.
