Cameron Couch, Founder and CCO
Champion of the small business owner/operator
Cameron is one of very few who can draw on 10 years’ worth of experience in the SD-WAN space. He is responsible for establishing and executing Ethica’s commercialization efforts. Cameron founded Ethica to enable service providers to bridge the digital divide – and to give small business owners (regardless of where they are) the ability to take advantage of cloud and internet based services.
Since 2003, Cameron has been providing value to the Food Services Industry across North America through the development and delivery of merchandising and marketing services. He is a former member of NACS and is currently a member of the Restaurant Technology Group – an organization that advises on technology solutions for the Restaurant industry.
Cameron has designed and built successful, highly automated channel sales programs for multiple technology vendors and has applied his experience to create a high-value channel program at Ethica. His career has been defined through hand-in-hand work with Independent ISPs and small and medium businesses around the world to help them address their and their customers’ needs, challenges and opportunities.
Alan Zimmermann, Co-Founder and CEO
ICT Service Delivery Executive
Alan has spent 30+ years in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) as a service delivery executive. Working closely with clients to understand and translate their needs into cultural transformations that align his team towards delivering an amazing client experience. Alan first started working in the SD-WAN space over 10 years ago and has taken the knowledge acquired then and complemented it with additional network and security operations experience.
Alan honed his leadership and client service skills through his experience holding executive roles in Security Operations, Network Operations, Process Engineering, Security Compliance, Information Technology, and Service Assurance. He is guided by his strong belief that in order to deliver the best experience for clients, successful leaders need not only to support their teams, but to hold them accountable to their actions and commitments.
As the CEO at Ethica Alan is accountable for leading the development and execution of long-term strategies for Ethica. He guides Ethica’s focus on enabling independent service providers to deliver faster, more reliable connectivity solutions for their customers. Alan is recognized for his ability translate strategy into repeatable, actionable priorities that provide focus and are tracked to eliminate bloat and maximize scalability. Alan has an E-MBA from the Ivey School of Business.
Paul Marley, Director, Software Engineering
Paul has over 20 years experience in the IT industry, primarily focused on delivering business value based on best practice software and systems development. As the Director of Software
Engineering, Paul is in charge of exploring emerging technologies, assessing their impact on the company’s business, and recommending new strategies and solutions. He is passionate about leading teams to deliver a scalable and secure infrastructure that supports rapid growth.
Before joining Ethica, Paul served as a technical leader in many organizations focused on building agile, impactful teams that delivered business-critical solutions.
